One of the fastest growing counties in the State of Ohio, Medina County has attracted a wide variety of industries to invest here. Over the past fifteen years, Medina County Economic Development Corporation has tracked over $2.3 billion of capital investments, with 56% of that total occurring in the past five years alone, reflecting the counties historically healthy economy.

Regional Economic Development Coalition

MCEDC is convening economic development partners to develop a plan to attract more workers.

CRA Tax Abatement Program

This program offers an exemption on real property taxes for up to 100% of the value of new or remodeled commercial and industrial facilities.

Workforce Housing

MCEDC is supporting the efforts of Medina Metropolitan Housing Authority to obtain construction grants to provide workforce housing options.
